Sharon Barfoot is a private art consultant, curator and artist living and working in Canada and Mexico and is the Director of Art Quest Consulting. Sharon has had over 25 years of experience in the art and cultural sector including work as a designer in professional theater, publisher, art therapist and curator. Private Acquisition and Collection Management
Whether you are a first time purchaser of fine art or a long-time collector, we can help you with a strategy to build your collection.
We will help coordinate your purchases and complete your transaction. Once that is complete we can document your collection for insurance purposes.
Speakers/Workshop Facilitators
Art Quest can arrange to have a speaker at your event on many art-related subjects. Should you have interest in hosting a workshop by any of our Workshop Facilitators, we can also coordinate the entire event for you.
Tours
Sharon Barfoot leads guided lecture tours at local museums and galleries focusing on the permanent collections and special exhibitions. She also leads art gallery tours geared towards the interests of the respective audiences. Art Quest Cultural Tour Consultants specializes in tailor-made international tours for special interest groups. We design tours for school, university, church and community groups. Our 'art appreciation' tours are designed for artists of all levels. We visit international and local destinations that promise to inspire and educate the participants.

Our experts at Art Quest can create all the marketing material you will need to promote your artwork from professionally designed portfolios to webpage design. We will also design, edit and publish your exhibition catalog once you land that big solo exhibit.
Curatorial
Art Quest can help the individual artist by offering curatorial services to both small, independent galleries and larger public galleries.
